  1. i think banksy's work is both graffiti and murals because drawing on public places can be called graffiti. but i think it is more of a mural if he ask for permission beforehand. since most graffiti done by teenagers are for fun and most of them are done without meanings. i would say banksy's work is mural as he has reasons behind it.

i think banksy's works are very interesting because some of them are human interactive, he tries to bring 2D painting to life by painting it on public area. i reckon he wouldn't be able to sell his work but he could sell the copy of the idea, for example the rat, which he can make as a logo for some clothing?

  2. Banskys work for me depicts the freedom that art gives us. It opens the door to breaking down barriers that society puts in place. This sadly limits artist from exploring the boundaries in which they can break and further extend their own knowledge of their capabilities that we can be found not only through graffiti art and murals but also other mediums as well.

Banskys work interacts with surroundings, making it believable that they actually exists or is supposed to be there. This is very interesting technique to use because it involves public structures and those who are able to view it as well it gives that sense of involvement and then graffiti is some what not thought of .
